Scholarships & Prizes
Ophthalmologists in training are invited to submit entries for the Junior Ophthalmologist Prize. The prize consists of a Travelling Bursary (up to a value of £1,500), awarded at the discretion of the Council of the Midland Ophthalmological Society.
The purpose of the award is to enable a recipient to travel to further their training in Ophthalmology or an associated subject. The prize will be awarded to the best presentation, assuming a satisfactory standard is reached. A second and third prize may be awarded at the discretion of the Council. There is also a poster prize.
